Fast Domain Name Checker Tool

I use Namecheap for my domain registrations and I was using it to check domain names after my keyword research. The domain checker on their website was a little slow and since I was checking a lot of domains I needed a faster tool. I know they have a bulk search tool and I use it for bulk checks , however it doesn’t fit to what I exactly needed.

After a simple Google search, I came across this simple but fantastic website that does domain checks almost instantly, Fast Domain Checker. I don’t know who owns that website and I am aware that it is a made for Adsense site, however, it really helps me in my domain research. You can check it if you are also looking for a simple and fast domain name checking tool.

EDIT:

After a little more search I found a better site, Instant Domain Search, that allows you to check three top level domains (.com, .net, .org) almost instantly. Well, this is absolutely better than the tool I mentioned before.

EDIT 2:

I found another site that allows you to bulk domain research really fast and there is no limits on the number of domains you can check at once. You can see the site here: Bulk Domain Check. This will absolutely speed up my keyword-domain research process. At the moment it seems to work right. Though it does not include .net and .org results on the result page, you need to click on to show more details.

EDIT 3: As I refine my search I find better and faster tools that offer bulk domain research. This one shows .com, .net and .org domains on the result page and that was exactly what I needed. Also it does not have a limit on the number of domains per check. I hope it works correctly, anyway I will be checking results with Namecheap time to time. Here is the link: Registrar Stats.

Namecheap Fun Holiday Trivia Contest – Free Domains & Dell Studio 15 Laptops

Today I decided to purchase a new domain name to do testing on some CPA offers. -I currently use Namecheap as my registrar.- I logged in my account in Namecheap and I noticed that they were running some kind of contest, namely Fun Holiday Trivia Contest, which they run through Twitter.

I was just about to ignore it, however, I wanted to give it a try. I am happy that I didn’t ignore it. Because now I have funds in my account enough to buy a new domain name that is sent by Namecheap. Check http://www.namecheap.com/contest/winners-dec09.asp the 15th, and you will see my twitter username among the winners: nailyener.

You can see the details of the Namecheap Fun Holiday Trivia Contest on http://www.namecheap.com/contest/. The contest started on 14th and will continue till 23rd. The idea is simple. Namecheap asks a question every hour in twitter and you answer them. They give $9.69 credit to the first person who answers the question correctly and another 7 guys chosen randomly from all the other participants who gave a correct answer. You heard it right, every hour they give 8 person credit that is enough to get a .com domain.

In addition, at the end, three people with the maximum number of correct answers will get a Dell Studio 15 laptop, and 4th and 5th ones with a 6th one chosen randomly will get Barnes & Noble nooks. Awesome gifts! By the way, this is the first time I am hearing about B&N nooks. I guess, it is the answer of B&N to Amazon Kindle.

Nevermind, I don’t think it will be worth to be in front of the PC to answer the questions 24 hours a day for 10 days. I am interested in the free domain names and I will continue the contest in the following days too.

This is how the contest works. You need to follow Namecheap, then, at every beginning of the hour answer their questions. It is a bit difficult to be the first one to answer because there are lots of contestants. Though you have the chance to get the credit by being picked randomly. That’s how I got the credit in my account. Note that they give 1 domain per account so do not expect to get 3-5 domains a day. However, by continuing to answer their questions, your chance to win a Dell Studio 15 laptop will increase.

And keep in mind that if you cannot find the correct answer on Google, you could do a Twitter search on “@namecheap”, and get help from others’ answers ;) .

Now, hurry if you want to get a free domain name today. By the way, you need to be a member of Namecheap in order to receive the credit. Sign up is totally free. And do not forget to connect your twitter account to your Namecheap account to get credits if you win. I will give my affiliate link if you would like to sign up as my referral: Namecheap.

Thanks, and good luck!
